My Amateur Lens: Stained Glass
December 28, 2008This morning was the christening of my “inaanak”, Auxieme Jheart, son of my former co-worker at NDMC. It was held at the Sto. Niño Parish Church of Midsayap. After the baptismal rites, the lens of my digicam wandered and caught this stained glass window. I used the digital macro mode of my digicam to get this image.
The figure is obviously that of Sto. Niño and the Halad Festival associated with the municipality. It is held every 3rd Sunday of January with all the street dancing and “handaan” at every devotee’s house.
