Our Wedding Chronicles: Pre-Wedding Preparations
December 20, 2008NOTE: I’m making a series of blogs narrating the events last year that led to our wedding on December 22, 2007. I’m making this to share to others and for me and my wife to always remember how we became hitched to each other. This is the fourth blog in the series.
We woke up at 4:30 AM. The big day has finally come! Wendy and I will be tying the knot that wonderful 22nd day of December 2007.
We spent the previous night at El Manuel Hotel along with our families. At around 5:00 AM, the three photographers/videographers from Rey Rellon Studio of Davao City (they also stayed with us at the hotel) came knocking at our room to begin the photo shoot.
Wendy’s gown was courtesy of The Wedding Channel, Davao City and she gamely posed with it.
Here’s my turn.
These were the items we used for the BIG event…
…our shoes…
…the crucifix and rosary…
…the wedding rings, arrhae coins and bible…
These rings are two-toned and made of 22 karat gold especially designed to our specifications by Johnaz Jewelry, Manila.
… the wine and guest book…
We ordered the wine at Crafter’s Haven, Davao City. It was customized according to what we want it to be.
… and all at once!
The make-up artists (Amie Patadon and his wife) arrived at around 6:00 AM. Amie took care of Wendy…
… while his wife minded the Maid of Honor and bridesmaids.
When all were set and ready, we had a photo shoot outside.

Our wedding was butterfly-themed that why the kids wore wings.

We set off to the church at 8:30 AM.
Next stop, The Wedding!
