My Fearless Forecast on the Pacquiao - Diaz "Lethal Combination" Bout

As a boxing aficionado, I know I have to make one. And as a true-blooded Filipino, I can’t help but root for our fellowman, Manny Pacquiao.
Even though his last fight with Juan Manuel Marquez is a very close one, I still have to pick “Pacman” over “Dangerous Diaz”. Nice monikers by the way. It is truly a “Lethal Combination”! Just like in the video game, Pacman will gobble up Diaz and include him in the long list of Mexicans he have defeated; Morales, Barrera and Marquez. After all, he is not called “The Mexican Assasin” for nothing.
Trying to become the first Asian to become world champion in 4 weight divisions will not be an easy task for Manny. David Diaz is such a formidable opponent and is a natural as a lightweight while this is the first time that Manny is fighting in this division. We’ll just wait and see this Sunday morning (June 29).
So my fearless forecast?
Manny Pacquiao by knockout in round 8.
